Since from long Facebook has stopped to support GIF animations. But now, with collaboration of Giphy users can share cool GIFs on Facebook with their friends and family.

Giphy is GIFs search engine, where you can find thousands of animations by use of desired keywords. To share animated GIF's on Facebook, visit Giphy.com find your desired animation. Then copy the shortened url available on each GIF or simply click on facebook button to share it on fb.
Well still there are some limitations like you can't upload your own created GIF animations on Giphy and, user must need to click on play icon on each GIF shared on fb in order to see it active.

why not i post my GIF on free image hosting site and and paste the shortened URL to my facebook status. much much easier!!!
ReplyDeleteactually you can do so but, by this way facebook will pull only first frame from GIF and will show its as static (not in motion).
