New Google Maps For Web Are Simply WOW

After two months of released of new Google maps for web to the only users which are invited by email, Google decided to make their new upgraded maps accessible for all. It's  preview makes clear that the maps are fully redesigned and are more interactive in comparison to classic ones.

In new version Google made everything easier to find and see. Lets give a look on new Google map features.

Interface

As default new Google maps has full screen interface. No interference of right sidebar and secondary navigation bar.

A new, smarter Search box

In Google Maps the search box is the starting point for each discovery. In addition to help users to find places, quick access to: recent searches, directions, transit, traffic, and bicycling info (where available) are just one click away.

Results are right on the map

In new Google map, search results are labeled directly on the map. The most relevant results are largest, and appears with unique icons to help users to identify the type of business at a glance.

Discover more with info Cards

Upon click on any search result in map a new info card will popup to show helpful business information, reviews, and ratings. Which allows users to get to their destination with quick access to directions, or star the place to save it for later. User can also drive into street view and other available imagery with a click.

See the world from every angle

Explore Street View, photo tours, and other imagery in the carousel at the bottom right. You can also acces Street View for available locations by clicking anywhere on the map.

Get a new perspective

By click on bottom-left corner square button in web user can change Map and Satellite views.
