How to Update the Nexus S to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

The company Google has already prepared the next update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for some of their models and other Smartphone’s; this is the case for Smartphone Nexus S.

If you have a Nexus S and want to install your new Android 4.1, here are some steps to do so directly you.
Galaxy Models and Motorola Xoom Nexus are the first Smartphone’s that got this update, and now will be the turn of the Nexus S. Now I leave this list of steps to upgrade this model to the new Android 4.1.

Steps to upgrade Android 4.1 Nexus S Jelly Bean:

1. You must have the Nexus S with the Android version 4.0.4.
2. Download the zip file of the official update for Nexus 4.1.1 Jelly Bean S.
3. Rename the file to update.zip and copy it in the root directory of the Smartphone’s internal memory.
4. Turn off your Smartphone.
5. Press the button to increase volume while you turn the Nexus S.
6. You will see a white screen with some options; find a check box that says "recovery" with the volume down key and then clicking the button.
7. The Smartphone will catch on and a screen with a robot Android aside, you have to press the button to increase volume on at the same time.
8. You will see a menu and select "Apply SD card: update.zip".
9. Wait until you finish installing and reboot your Smartphone alone. This will take time, so do not despair.
10. After that you have installed the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in your Nexus S.
