The certified Information System (CIS) course has been initiated at the central Jail Karachi under the auspices of Al-Khidmat Welfare Society. An announcement on Tuesday said that in the course, computer hardware, software, and Microsoft system are being taught. It said that the purpose of introducing
the course is to impart computer education to the inmates and mould them into useful citizen so that after their release they could contribute positively to the process of development. Meanwhile, examination was conducted of those who had attended this course earlier. As many as 30 inmates appeared in the examination.
